Quanta Services (NYSE: PWR), a US-based infrastructure solutions provider, released its third-quarter 2026 earnings report, with key metrics exceeding management expectations. Revenue reached $12 billion, up 57% year-over-year. Adjusted EBITDA rose 69% to $1.4 billion, while adjusted EPS increased 82% to $6.06.

Cash flow performance was also robust, with the company generating record operating cash flow of $1.5 billion and free cash flow of $1.2 billion. As of September 30, Quanta's total backlog stood at approximately $64 billion, an increase of $10 billion from the end of the second quarter. CEO Duke Austin noted that this growth was broad-based, spanning renewable energy, transmission and distribution, and utility generation, rather than being driven by a single large project.

Following the strong quarterly performance and expectations for continued fourth-quarter strength, management raised its full-year 2026 guidance. The company now forecasts annual revenue between $41.3 billion and $41.6 billion, adjusted EPS of $17.90 to $18.30, and free cash flow ranging from $2.5 billion to $3 billion. CFO Jayshree Desai attributed favorable working capital performance partly to contract terms in its mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) businesses.

While data center demand remains a market focus, Austin emphasized that the company's growth is not solely dependent on it. He highlighted that with a workforce expansion of roughly 12,000 employees and increased manufacturing capacity, Quanta Services is actively positioning itself in other infrastructure markets such as power generation and pharmaceuticals to address potential supply chain constraints and ensure sustained growth.
