US Construction Robotics Firm Bedrock Raises $600M Series C at $4.1B Valuation
Bedrock Robotics secures $600M to scale autonomous excavator deployments across US construction sites.
San Francisco-based startup Bedrock Robotics announced on October 26, 2026, that it has raised $600 million in a Series C round at a $4.1 billion post-money valuation. The round was co-led by CapitalG and Emergence Capital, with new investors including US Innovative Technology Fund (USIT), Bessemer Venture Partners, and Temasek joining existing backers such as 8VC and NVIDIA. This brings Bedrock's total funding to nearly $1 billion.
Founded in 2024 by former Waymo engineers, Bedrock develops autonomous systems for heavy equipment. In mid-August 2026, the company achieved a defining milestone: fully autonomous excavators performing paid work on live commercial job sites. The new capital will accelerate the expansion of these deployments from early pilots to broader adoption across more contractors and regions in the United States, aiming to address the critical shortage of skilled labor in the construction industry. According to the company, its total customer volume has more than doubled since 2025.
