South Korean AI Firm BlueDot AI Launches Beta Tool to Convert E-commerce Product Images into AI-Readable Code

BlueDot AI releases a new feature helping Korean merchants transform image-based product details into HTML and JSON-LD, enabling better recognition by generative AI search engines.

South Korean Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) provider BlueDot AI announced on November 5 that it has launched a beta feature called "Detail Page Structuring" within its analytics platform, BlueDot Intelligence. The tool addresses a common issue in e-commerce: many merchants embed critical product information—such as materials, sizes, and ingredients—within single long images, making it difficult for AI search engines and shopping agents to read and compare this data.

By uploading product images or entering SKUs, the feature uses OCR technology to extract text and automatically converts it into structured HTML code and JSON-LD data. The generated code can be pasted directly into the source mode of Korea's leading e-commerce platform, Cafe24, while also providing universal code compatible with other generic e-commerce editors. This process allows generative AIs like ChatGPT and Perplexity to accurately access product features without requiring merchants to redesign their page layouts.

Lee Sung-gyu, CEO of BlueDot AI, stated that as AI increasingly influences product recommendations and purchasing decisions, making product data "visible" to AI is becoming crucial. The company plans to expand this functionality from Cafe24 to other major e-commerce solutions as part of its strategic shift toward Agentic Commerce Optimization (ACO).
