Israeli cybersecurity startup Pluto Security announced on October 13, 2026, that it is exiting stealth mode after raising a total of $42 million. The company develops an enterprise AI security management platform designed to monitor the security risks associated with employees using AI tools, coding assistants, and work applications, while restricting high-risk operations.

According to a report by tech media outlet TechCrunch, Pluto Security CEO Shahar Bahat stated that the company began selling its products in April of this year. It currently has more than 30 enterprise customers and reports an annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding $2 million. The founding team includes former members of Israel's military intelligence Unit 8200, Microsoft, and Palo Alto Networks.

In addition to its paid enterprise platform, Pluto Security launched a free service called Plutonium, which allows users to check public AI skills, extensions, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for security vulnerabilities. Previously, the company disclosed major security flaws in Nginx UI and Hugging Face Transformers.
