Google launched Playground on October 7, an experimental gaming platform that enables users to create, share, and play custom games using simple text prompts, requiring no coding experience.

The browser-based platform supports multiplayer gameplay and leaderboards. All published games undergo safety screenings aligned with Community Guidelines. Access is currently limited to users aged 18+ in the U.S., with tiered creation access based on Google One membership.

Google announced plans to integrate Unity Spark soon, offering professional creators high-fidelity 3D capabilities and robust mechanics. Unity Spark is currently in testing, with a closed beta expected shortly.
