Ecovacs Claims Global Sales Leadership in Roller Mop Robots as Overseas Revenue Exceeds Half

Ecovacs confirmed by third-party data as #1 in roller mop and window robot sales; H1 shipments up 44%, overseas revenue crosses 50% for the first time.

Chinese home service robot manufacturer Ecovacs announced on October 28 that it ranked first in global sales volume for roller mop robot vacuums in 2025, according to data from global market research firm Euromonitor. This ranking, based on an independent survey of brand sales volumes, confirms Ecovacs' market dominance in its core innovative product line featuring 'OZMO ROLLER' technology. The technology cleans floors with rotating mops while simultaneously washing the rollers with clean water, addressing the secondary contamination issues common in traditional mopping robots.

Beyond floor cleaning, Ecovacs has also achieved leadership in window cleaning. According to International Data Corporation (IDC), Ecovacs' 'WINBOT' series topped global window cleaning robot sales in 2025, with last year's unit sales exceeding 1 million and cumulative sales surpassing 2.6 million units. These figures indicate that Ecovacs has successfully expanded its product portfolio from single-purpose floor cleaners to multi-scenario home service robots.

In terms of financial structure, Ecovacs disclosed that its global service robot shipments grew 44.1% year-over-year in the first half of 2026. A more critical change lies in the geographic distribution of revenue: driven by overseas expansion of new products like window robots, robotic lawn mowers, and pool cleaning robots, overseas sales for these categories increased by 75.1%. In the second quarter, Ecovacs' overseas revenue share reached 51%, marking the first time in the company's history that international income exceeded half of total revenue. This shift demonstrates the company's gradual transition away from dependence on the domestic Chinese market toward becoming a global brand.

For AI industry investors, Ecovacs' case provides a concrete sample of the international expansion of consumer-grade robotics hardware. While sales rankings and shipment growth are supported by third-party agency data and company-reported figures, the crossing of the 50% overseas revenue threshold is a clear structural inflection point. It reflects the rising penetration of Chinese hardware firms equipped with specific AI algorithms (such as path planning and stain recognition) and mechanical innovations into the global high-end appliance market. However, investors should note that sales leadership does not directly equate to improved profit margins, and the competitive landscape for new business lines remains evolving.
