US technology company Apple has opened orders for its top-tier Mac Studio workstation. The machine now offers a 512GB unified memory option for the first time, targeting professionals and developers who need to run large local AI models.
The flagship device, which Apple calls "the power of a new era," costs exactly €33,329 in its full configuration, featuring a 36-core CPU, 80-core GPU, 512GB of RAM, and a 16TB SSD. Upgrading the memory from 96GB to 512GB alone adds €17,050 to the base price.
For buyers looking to reduce costs, the 512GB RAM version starts at €25,079 if paired with only a 1TB SSD instead of the maximum storage. Current delivery times are estimated at 10 to 12 weeks, with in-store pickup at select locations not available until late January.
