US-based AI infrastructure startup Applied Compute Inc. announced on November 3, 2026, that it has raised $350 million in funding at a $3.25 billion valuation. The round was led by prominent angel investor Elad Gil, with participation from Nvidia Corp., Shopify Ventures, HubSpot Ventures, and over a dozen others.

Applied Compute operates a cloud platform used by developers to train large language models and perform inference. The company stated that its platform uses an efficient training approach called asynchronous reinforcement learning (RL), which allows data generation and weight adjustment components to run simultaneously, speeding up LLM development. Additionally, the platform supports self-distillation, removing the need for teacher models.

Regarding the use of funds, Applied Compute disclosed that its annualized recurring revenue (ARR) has topped $100 million. The company, which launched less than 18 months ago, will use the newly raised capital to grow its market presence and buy more infrastructure. Its customers include major tech firms such as Microsoft Corp. and DoorDash Inc.
