Acer Founder Stan Shih Establishes One-Person Company, Writes New Book in Days Using Two AI Agents
Stan Shih revealed at an annual meeting that his newly formed 'one-person company' is assisted by two AI agents, reducing the time to write a new book from over six months to just a few days.
Stan Shih, founder of the Acer Group, stated on October 28 while attending the Taiwan AI IoT Alliance Annual Meeting that he had started a business again after more than 20 years of retirement. He established a 'One-Person Company' (OPC) assisted by two AI employees. According to Shih, writing a book previously took more than six months, but this time, through collaboration with AI, he completed a new book in just a few days.
The two AI employees have distinct roles: the first, named 'Ah Ying', serves as Shih's AI digital twin; the second, named 'Guan Fu', is responsible for extracting and organizing his knowledge and interacting with real-world feedback. Shih noted that such practices reflect a shift in how individuals use AI, moving from single-query interactions to long-term collaboration. Following the Chinese edition, English and Japanese versions of the book have been released globally in both print and e-book formats.
