The Eye on A.I. podcast published an in-depth interview on October 16, 2026, focusing on AI infrastructure and cost optimization. Host Craig Smith sat down with Iskander Malikov, Co-founder & CEO of Trioma, to unpack the operational logic behind this vertically integrated AI ecosystem based in the UAE.
According to the official episode description, the conversation covers how Trioma's orchestration engine dynamically routes user requests across more than 65 large language models. Malikov posits that "token price is a misleading metric" and details how Trioma's GPU network enables users to participate in AI infrastructure development to offset their own compute costs. The discussion also extends to the economics of AI subscriptions, the potential collapse of traditional SaaS, and Trioma's belief that AI should be sovereign, accessible, and community-driven.
For practitioners interested in AI application-layer cost control, multi-model scheduling strategies, and decentralized compute networks, this episode offers a window into the business model of emerging AI platforms. As only the show notes are available without a full transcript, listeners must independently evaluate the specific arguments regarding the future of SaaS and sovereign AI architectures.
