Google launched a new website on October 7 that allows anyone to verify whether media files are AI-generated.
Previously, this tool was restricted to select journalists and researchers. The public can now upload images, videos, and audio clips for detection.
The tool uses SynthID watermarking technology and supports content from Google models as well as partners like OpenAI and NVIDIA. It does not detect AI content lacking this specific watermark.
