Anthropic reportedly targets week of Nov 9 to start IPO roadshow
The listing window still rests on anonymous sourcing; watch whether a $2 trillion-plus expectation survives the disclosed losses.
Bloomberg reported on Oct. 1 that Anthropic plans to formally begin marketing its IPO in the week of Nov. 9, aiming to go public before year-end.
The report cites anonymous sources and states that internal discussions on the exact timeline are ongoing and could change; Reuters had earlier seen the company's S-1 prospectus on Sept. 28, with market expectations of a valuation above $2 trillion.
The prospectus shows fiscal 2025 revenue of $4.6 billion, up more than 12 times year over year, alongside a net loss of more than $42 billion and planned spending of $518 billion on AI infrastructure in the coming years.
