OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Spaces, a shared environment that puts documents, colleagues and agents in one place, replacing the Library tab for Pro, Business and Enterprise users.
A new document type, Pages, stays current through connections to Slack, email and calendars; a meeting plugin is in beta for Pro and Business on desktop, creating private notes and suggesting follow-ups.
Per TechRadar's September 30 report, OpenAI says it is not out to replace Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, but the shift of documents, people and AI into one entry point is worth watching for office-software users.
