Tiny Health, an Austin-based at-home gut microbiome testing company, announced on September 29 that it raised $33 million in a Series B round led by B Capital.
The round brings total funding to $46 million, following a $4.5 million seed round in 2021 and an $8.5 million Series A in late 2023. Existing investors including Spero Ventures participated, and B Capital's Nick Whitehead will join the board.
CEO Cheryl Sew Hoy said revenue has more than doubled each year and the B2B arm grew fourfold last year, but she did not disclose revenue or valuation figures. The company describes its product as a wellness test, not a diagnostic, and insurance does not cover it.
