Owl Labs' survey of 8,000 workers worldwide found that 58% of employees believe their employer has deployed AI-based monitoring tools, and 82% want disclosure of the practice to become a legal requirement.
The same survey recorded behavioral signals of eroding trust: 38% of employees report "working to rule," sticking strictly to their job descriptions, rising to 47% among Gen Z workers.
