Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, Donald Trump said US government documents will use the term "superintelligence" (SI) instead of AI, and that he hopes the world follows.
According to the Associated Press, the State Department ordered US diplomats the same day to use SI instead of AI in all communications going forward. China's foreign ministry did not say whether it would adopt the term, saying only that it respects the US choice.
