Changan says it aims to mass-produce humanoid robots by 2028
A major automaker has put robot mass production on a public timetable, but the target carries no investment or capacity figures.

Changan Automobile said at an investor briefing on September 23 that it aims to achieve mass production of humanoid robots by 2028 and to launch a commercial-route flying car by 2030.
The statement came from Xie Renjun, deputy general manager of the company's capital operations department, at a Chongqing-listed company half-year results briefing. He also said solid-state battery development has reached 20Ah cell verification.
These are stated intentions: no investment amount, capacity or customer information was disclosed. The company previously described a path from modularizing car components to robots for logistics, inspection and other scenarios.
