Nat Friedman, head of product at Meta's Superintelligence Labs, acknowledged that Muse was built from scratch but was "definitely heavily inspired as a product by OpenClaw."
Pressed by developers on nearly identical workspace filenames and a SOUL.md configuration file with almost the same content, Friedman replied that OpenClaw creator Peter Steinberger "got those things exactly right."
