IonQ plans to deploy its Superion 256 quantum system at NVIDIA's Accelerated Quantum Research Center in 2027. This is an announced plan only; nothing is installed yet.
Per the announcement, the system will link via NVQLink to an NVIDIA GB200 NVL72, with workloads managed through the CUDA-Q platform. The companies plan research into hybrid software development and quantum-GPU co-design. It marks IonQ's first deployment of a full system outside its own facilities.
The Superion 256 was introduced on September 8, is available to order, and first customer deliveries are also expected in 2027. The company's separately disclosed real-time error-correction result is self-reported and unverified, and the deployment plan itself comes from the company's announcement as relayed by media.
