Li Auto's chip business is reportedly preparing its first external funding round; no deal has closed.
LatePost reports a pre-money valuation of about 15 billion yuan and a target raise of several billion yuan — both are talks-stage figures with no named investors. Corporate registry records show Mach Intelligent Cores Limited was incorporated in Hong Kong on July 14, with Li Auto CTO Xie Yan as legal representative of the Shanghai subsidiary.
The Mach M100 chip already ships in the L9, L8 and MEGA, and the roughly 200-person team is working on both vehicle-side and cloud chips. Terms should be read against company disclosure, not as a completed transaction.
