Privacy Policy

How DisconfirmAI handles account and product data.

Policy version policy-2026-10-21 sets out the service, refund and personal-data terms below. Purchase availability and the applicable price are shown in the product; your statutory rights remain protected.

Version: policy-2026-10-21 · Updated: October 21, 2026

We process account information, research questions, conversations, images and related materials, watch settings, preferences and usage records to provide and recover the service. Google sign-in supplies an account identifier, name, email and avatar. We do not sell personal data. Anonymous reading analytics requires a separate voluntary choice.

To suggest an interface language, we use your browser language and, if needed, infer your country from your IP address using a database on our server. We do not send your IP address to an external geolocation API or store it as part of your language preference. You can change the language at any time. VPNs and country estimates may affect the suggestion. DB-IP

Payment data

Stripe hosts checkout and payment information. We send your account email and internal identifier needed for reconciliation, not research text or attachments. This site stores customer, subscription, invoice and payment-status identifiers and credit records, not full card numbers or card security codes.

1. Responsible business and current version

Kenentoshi Co., Ltd., a Japanese company, is the seller and operator of DisconfirmAI and the entity responsible for its personal data. This is policy version policy-2026-10-21, updated October 21, 2026.

The product business contact is Andy Wang. The business contact location is Liangzhu Subdistrict, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, not a statement of the company’s registered address. Contact henuwangkai@gmail.com for product support and personal-data requests.

2. Data categories and purposes

Account identifier, name, email and avatar support sign-in, account maintenance and ownership checks. Preferences support the reading and research experience you choose. Questions, messages, images, selected materials and relevant history support answers, recovery and research you initiate. Watch settings store plans and run checks you enable.

Credit batches, token usage, receipts, orders and payment status support billing, reconciliation, failure recovery and billing disputes. Necessary security and operation records help prevent abuse and diagnose faults; these purposes do not require publishing private conversations or payment credentials.

3. Sign-in, research and other providers

Google handles the Google sign-in you choose. When you use research, the necessary questions, images, selected materials, context and relevant history are processed by the research and model services used for that feature. Online tools may send a query or destination URL to search services or content sources. This does not mean your entire account is sent to every provider.

We currently use Alibaba Cloud Model Studio for AI-assisted preparation and automated review of public reading materials.

Providers’ processing, retention and use for training depend on the applicable service agreements and policies. We do not promise that every provider has zero retention, processes data in one country or excludes all training use. Optional analytics continues to require the separate choice described on this page; purchasing does not enable it.

4. Payment processing by Stripe

Stripe receives payment and billing details entered into its hosted checkout. Depending on its role, Stripe handles data for payment, fraud prevention, identity or compliance purposes. We use payment identifiers and status to deliver allowance, invoices and reconciliation. Not all Stripe or payment-institution processing is under our control.

Read Stripe’s Privacy Policy as well. A deletion request to DisconfirmAI does not establish that Stripe or a bank deleted legally retained payment records. Stripe describes separate rights and channels for data it controls directly. Do not submit payment details through research inputs or support email.

5. Retention, deletion and financial records

We retain only data needed for clear purposes such as providing the service and restoring your history, security, billing reconciliation and dispute handling. Account and research content are considered separately from payment and accounting records; a need to retain financial records is not a reason to keep all private research indefinitely.

Deleting a chat in the product removes it from the visible history but does not immediately erase all associated messages, accounting records or backups. We do not promise a universal deletion period or immediate removal from every copy.

For a deletion request, we explain what can be removed, the progress and the reasons for any necessary retention. Where applicable law requires retention or deletion is temporarily technically impracticable, processing is restricted to the necessary storage, security and applicable retention purposes. Third-party payment records may remain subject to the provider’s own obligations.

6. Access, correction, export and deletion requests

You may email henuwangkai@gmail.com at any time to request access, correction, export or deletion. Provide your account email and the scope of the request. We verify your relationship to the account using only necessary information; do not send passwords or verification codes.

After verifying your identity, we explain the executable scope, progress and reasons for any necessary retention, and observe applicable statutory response deadlines. If a request cannot be fully completed, we explain the limitation rather than treating receipt of your email as completion.

The product currently has no one-click complete account export or permanent-deletion facility. A chat deletion is not a promise that every associated copy has been erased. Canceling a subscription, signing out and deleting personal data are different actions.

Analytics preferences

You may enable anonymous reading analytics when signing in or registering. Declining does not affect sign-in, registration or use of the product. With permission, we use PostHog (US region) to record reading-list display, item visibility and foreground time, source and research-entry clicks, and additional-item loading results to improve the reading experience. Analytics uses a random identifier for this browser and excludes account details, article identifiers, page addresses, reading or chat text, searches and holdings. Autocapture and session replay are disabled. You can change your choice in My account or on this page. Withdrawal stops future sending and removes the local analytics identifier; it does not automatically delete previously received data. Analytics is disabled when browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. Separately opt in to send source categories, page types, visible time and successful feature outcomes to PostHog (US). A random browser and visit identifier connects the steps. No full URLs, searches, chats, account details, article IDs or holdings are sent. Source categories can stay in this page's memory before your choice; no analytics storage or sending starts before consent. Turning this off clears local visit/source data; the shared browser identifier is removed when reading analytics is also off.
